Included measurements are; Inner and Outer Bearing Diameters, Circularity and Runout, Distance between Bearing Seats and LRO of the Rotor Mounting Face.
This Automatic System inspects crankshafts for multiple dimensional and geometric features (the part is in the raised position engaged with the tooling). Included measurements are; Main, Pin and Seal Diameters, Circularity, Runout and Thrust Width Distance, Presence of Oil Holes is also detected.
VERIMET® U1000 Universal Instrumentation System
The Verimet U1000 System is a Modular Automatic Universal Instrument (MAUI) designed to perform gaging, nondestructive eddy current testing, and other real time measurement data acquisition operations. The U1000 replaces all the eddy current and gaging instruments previously sold by K. J. Law Engineers over the years with a single modular instrument system having all their capabilities and more. The U1000 can perform eddy current testing from ultra-high frequency flaw detection to low frequency hardness verification and case depth prediction. Its gaging capabilities process input from LVDTs and Air Circuits to perform difficult dynamic measurements, and includes advanced filtering and spindle-compensation capabilities. The U1000 was developed using the latest hardware and software standards to allow it to integrate with other devices and systems and to evolve with emerging standards.
